A Creative Space for Learning

Liz’s studio comes fully equipped and highly recommended for all sorts of musical discoveries—from Boomwhackers to Beethoven!

Teaching Instruments

Liz teaches with a Young Cheng acoustic upright piano, an Athena NK301 digital piano, a Josef BS-1 oboe, a Buescher Aristocrat tenor saxophone, and a Martin Committee III baritone saxophone.

Other treasures around the studio include a Hammond organ, a Cellini accordion, and lots of ukuleles!

All About Athena

The Athena NK301 is the first of its kind: a digital piano with a 5.5-inch octave. Designed to help small-handed pianists reach their full musical potential and play advanced repertoire without injury, narrow-key pianos also provide a strong technical foundation for young students.

Are you a pianist interested in trying Narrow Keys? Schedule a time with Liz at liz.medlin@proton.me – experience the joy (and rage and romantic repertoire) for yourself!

Central Sioux Falls

Liz’s studio sits on a quiet street just blocks from Downtown Sioux Falls. During lesson times, parents of young musicians can shop, dine, take a nature walk, enjoy tea and a book, and so much more!
