Audiation is a big word for a simple concept: thinking the music, just like a language. A well-trained ear prepares students to read sheet music fluently, compose their own ideas, and thrive in any ensemble they wish to join. Music lessons that build audiation ability set students up for a lifetime of confident, joyous music-making.

WE ARE ALL BORN MUSICAL

Students learn the musicianship skills that carry them through their musical goals—classical music, jazz combo, rock band, and more. Each student brings unique strengths, interests, and experiences to music lessons, and a skilled teacher builds on those foundations.

Music lessons are about developing your creative voice, along with interpreting interpreting others’. In Liz’s studio, everyone gets to improvise and compose—even beginners!

ACHIEVING MORE TOGETHER

Partner lessons for young pianists and frequent performance opportunities help students build confidence. Duets and small ensembles scaffold the performing experience so that when students set foot on stage, they’re ready for the adoring crowd.

Liz’s studio holds recitals twice a year. Always encouraged but never required, recitals give students the opportunity to make the best music possible: the music we share with others.
